› Pour les tenants du constructivisme,
l'élève contrôle son propre apprentissage, exerce un certain
contrôle sur son cheminement et construit peu à peu des structures mentales
incorporant les connaissances acquises.
Les hypermédias (CD-Rom, Internet...) se prêtent à cette approche
en offrant des choix multiples. L'élève «navigue»
dans de vastes domaines de connaissance en cliquant sur des mots ou des icônes...
La grande panoplie de cheminements possibles sur Internet est une promesse de progrès
rapide de l'approche constructiviste. Mais il y a aussi danger, lorsque les élèves, mal guidés
ou sans professeurs formés à l'usage des hypermédias, se trouvent
désorientés...- d'après Bernard Moro.
